London, UK.

London based quartet Struggles With Syntax label themselves as “regret rock.”

It’s that slightly sardonic, sometimes self-deprecation the band have though that makes them all the more relatable to listeners. They don’t take themselves too seriously.

Or have an air of pretension about them, for that matter.

Musically akin to the ’00s post-hardcore movement (At The Drive-In, Million Dead, Future of the Left) and lyrically akin to the irony-laden works of McClusky, Future Of The Left (again) and Scroobius Pip.

Struggles With Syntax’s last release, “UK Garage Floor Fillers Vol 4” earned them considerable airplay on Amazing Radio and internationally on college stations.

It had to be their humour that helped, right?
